I was restarting my computer after I installed some
windows updates. Now it won't load anything...none of
the Safe Modes or the "Last Good Configuration" either.
Nada. I don't know how to do a system restore from
startup, because my windows xp came with the hp
computer...that is, I don't have a windows xp cd to run a
system restore from. I don't even know if I should be
attempting a system restore...I'd rather not. Each time
I select an option, it will show me the "We're sorry for
the inconvenience, but Windows did not start properly
last time" page. After an option is selected, it will
show me the Windows XP Home loading screen. Then it
flashes a blue screen with white text (too fast for me to
see) and restarts.
Help?

You should have recover disks that was bundled with your computer. It will have
Windows on the disks. If you don't have these disks call your vendor and insist they
send them.
