Cannot Install New Video Driver

I recently bought Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and in order for it to work I need a video driver that supports OpenGL. I have a 32MB ATI Rage 128 Ultra video card and so I downloaded the driver I needed off of the internet. However, when I tried to install it I received a severe error that said it wasn't compatible. I think the problem is that I have a Dell computer and need a Dell driver; however, when I went onto Dell's website and tried to download a driver the only one offered didn't support OpenGL. What should I do? Someone please help.
 
the driver from ATI should work if you have picked the right one for your OS

I have an ATI Rage 128 with OpenGL support , but i had to try a couple
different drivers to find one that worked well
