I have several MIDI files in a mixed (MIDI, MP3, Maybe a
WAV or 2) playlist. they used to play just fine, but
something has become discombobulated. The funny thing is,
there is no error message. it plays it, the little
progress bar moves at the right speed, everything is great
except the sound doesn't come out.

I have tried:
Re-starting
Checking volume controls.

Stats:
Version 9.00.00.3075

Running on:
WinXP
Home
V2002
SP1

Notes: MP3s play just fine. it's only midis that are
screwy.

Can this be the same problem I am having....Only midi files:progress meter
moves but no sound. When I check volume control, the volume control lever
has dropped to the bottom. I raise it and get sound but the next time that
I am playing a midi, I must go through this process again.
Can not understand why the control "drops" on its own and will not remain
where I am placing it....?

Your MIDI Seqencer is messed up, go to your sound cards website and see
if they have troubleshooting
