cannot get ICS to install

when I try to run the internet connection sharing on a machine I keep
getting an error occured and to try to install it manually. no other
messages.

I have tried to install it with netwrok setup and though the network control
panel

the machine is a windows XP Pro os with sp2 installed

network cards are dlink 5xx and a sis900 on the mother board.

any Ideas how to get this working.

Hi,

Same problem here!

I could do it in Win2K and Linux and a mixed network of both but using XP
as the 'host' I all turns to a pile of ash!
