Cannot find XP SP2 Upgrade

This may sound rediculas, but I have a Dell Latitude D600 and am
running a legit copy of XP Pro SP1 and cannnot install XP SP2. I have
tried auto-update and windows update but it does not come up as a
possibile update to XP. Is it possible that my company has made my
laptop ineligible for SP2? Are there any other reasons why I am not
able to install this update? I am very confused.
