cannot find thread again

I posted something to your web site then you sent me by email that you had an
answer. when I clicked on the email there was nothing but a blank discussion
and I hav e no way of finding the orig discussion
 
Out of the thousands of folks who read this board, you may be the only one
who knows what you're talking about. If the person who sent you the email
happens to figure out you're referring to him or her, it'll be a miracle.
Could you possibly provide more info?

It's much easier to find what you are looking for if you use newsreader
software rather than the web interface. Vista includes Windows Mail
which is a sufficient newsreader application. Click
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.vista.general to
open this newsgroup in your default newsreader application.

Who are you talking to? If you can't find a post of yours, search for it
using Google groups advanced search. This newsgroup is
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general. Search for your name as author.

Better yet, as Tom suggested, use a newsreader.
