I am connected to the internet but instead of going to my
home page and downloading it, explorer 6 has this
message "cannot find server DNS error"
My outlook express is also not working along with yahoo
messenger etc. I am definately connected to the internet
and there is no problem with my modem but I cannot do
anything online.
Failing finding an easy solution like changing a setting
or something would uninstalling explorer 6 and having it
reinstalled again fix the problem?
Also the System folder keeps jumping up and opening.
I would welcome your replies.

Jen,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).

Thanks for your reply Mike,
I have Ad-aware installed and have just scanned and found
some spyware and parasites. I can't download any of the
other scans because I still can't get onto the internet
with that computer.
What's the next step - Is there a service centre that can
fix this for me?
Regards,
Jen
