Cannot Figure Out Administrater Password

Recently, my father set some limits on my Windows User name that I didn't like. He tried to fix the problem but he forgot his administrater password! He is the only administrater and we have been trying to figure it out for about a month. Should I call someone, or can someone please tell me how to fix this problem so we can log into his name?
