cannot enable cookies

Since I downloaded IE6 this week, I can't access hotmail
because cookies are not enabled. But I've set security to
accept all cookies. I'm running Windows ME.

I also did the following but still no success:
* Turned off AdSubtract.
* Deleted msn.com from Favorites.
* After a power-off reboot, closed all open programs
including Norton antivirus, and re-downloaded and re-
installed IE6, then restarted machine.

I still get the message that cookies are not enabled!

You may have to add the site to your approve list.

Blocking Unwanted Cookies with IE 6
There are several new features built-in to IE 6, one of them is the ability
to accept and\or block any or all cookies if desired.
