cannot download from home screen

Hi,
Since I have purchased xpmicrosoft I have a problem
getting to a new screen. To Clarify:: When the screen
says to press {whatever], my screen goes to a white square
and then locks. When after a seemingly long wait I punch
CAD [ ctl,stop,delete }] I am disconnected from the
internet. This happens almost every time I try to order
something or request more info.. Help

This isn't enough information to get a good answer. Is this a machine
that came with XP preinstalled or did you do an upgrade? If the latter,
did you do a clean install (drive format) or just an upgrade
installation? What are your system specs? Post back with details for
more help or consider having a computer repair person look at the box.

You mention the internet. Any sites in particular? Oredering what and where?
It might be common.
