Every time I try to pick a search result in the Help and Support Center I get
a notification, "Cannot Display The Page" in the large browse panel. I
reinstalled PCHealth, but it didn't help. How can I display the search result
I have picked.

Thanks, Ramesh.....Tried what you suggested. The registry entries were
already set to "0". What can I do next??

irandolph,

Does it happen for all the links, or few links in particular? Also, an
example would help.

Ramesh...

No matter what topic I select or search for, I get the same message...Cannot
Dispaly The Page. However, the KnowledgeBase selctions work. It looks as if
all the locally stored topics are missing.

I really appreciate you helping me!!!

irandolph,

See if these commands help, from Start/Run:

regsvr32 itss
regsvr32 hhctrl.ocx
regsvr32 /i mshtml

I ran all of them and they all "succeeded".

Thanks, again...I have a Dell. Should I go to dell for instructions on how to
rebuild my help center???

Yes, contacting Dell would be a good idea. The method mentioned in the
previous link rebuilds the help and support, but removes any OEM
customizations made to the Help Center.

Another option is to reinstall using PCHealth.inf. Locate the PCHealth.inf
file in the %Windir%\Inf folder. Right-click and choose Install.

I contacted Dell. I reinstalled the Help and Support Center. It didn't help.
I'll try your method. You have been a great help!!

Ramesh...I reinstalled it from PCHealth before. It didn't work. I tried to
completely reinstall it per your insructions. I am still getting the same
error message.

The only way I found to solve this problem was to boot from the XP CD SetUp &
Repair. All the other methods didn't work for me.

Ramesh,
I have a similar problem, as irandolph except it it limited to only a few
functions inthe Help and Support Center. I have a DELL 4300S at Win XP SP@.
There is a known issue with Dell's Dell Support Center which I have removed.
However, the Cannot Diplay the Page notification is returned when I choose
"computer information" or "user and system guides" from the main Help and
Support Center (and similarly for "computer information" selections further
down the menu tree).

Have you or anyone come up with ideas as to how to fix this issue?

Thanks.

Dave,

Give these commands a try:

From Start, Run:

regsvr32 mshtmled.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll
regsvr32 msxml3.dll
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 itss.dll
regsvr32 hhctrl.ocx
regsvr32 /i mshtml.dll

Note that all of the above are system modules, and does not cause any harm
in registering them.
