Some days ago I unistalled ZoneLabs and installed Sygate.
Everything works perfectly, but when I looked in Registry the Startup
files under "Run" I saw that ZoneAlarm was still there. I tried to
delete it but it told me that this wasn't possible.
I deleted another program I didn't use anymore and it worked.
This means I didn't loose my administrator rights (Win2000).
Is there some hidden bit which allows to cancel or modify this setting
in the registry?
Thanks for your help.

The exact text of the error when you try may help.

I found the reason!
It was TrueVector which hadn't been uninstalled who "protected" his
"daddy" ZoneLabs!
I reinstalled ZoneLabs and uninstalled it again together with TrueVector
and now they have all disappeared.
Thank you anyway
Horst

Glad to hear it.
