Cannot delete files from network share after XP SP 2

I have several machine that can copy to a network folder
on an IBM AS/400 system. They can copy, save, edit, but
cannot delete. The error is as follows: Cannot delete
(file): It is being used by another person or program.

I have rebooted the machine, still same error. This
started occuring after XP SP2. There is a temp file that
generates in the shared folder, and it seems like it is
locking the files or folder open.

Has anyone encountered this yet? Does anyone have any
recommendations, or solutions to this problem?

I'm having the same issue with a few systems that were upgraded to SP2 except
I can't delete file off a Server 2003 file server. Not all systems have this
problem and I know it is not a permissions problem.
