I used "System Restore" to create a new Restore Point. It appeared to run
correctly and showed me the complete name of the new Restore Point. Then I
entered System Restore again and selected the option to "Restore my computer
to and earlier time" just to see if the Restore Point I created would be
listed. Not only was it not listed, but no other Restore Points were listed
for earlier days.
I checked the System Restore Properties to confirm that the "Turn Off System
Restore" box is not checked.
About a month ago, I had problems installing Norton Internet Security and
had to do a "Clean Start" which required that System Restore be turned off
all Restore Points were deleted with the Clean Start. That may have been
when my problem started.
Anyone have a suggestion as to what is going on?
