Cannot create new appointments/meeting requests

Installed Office 2003 after flattening and rebuilding
computer, now can't create new appointments or meeting
requests. If I go into Calendar view and enter a new
appointment that way, I get this error: "could not save
item". Please help
 
Hi,
Just had the same problem with a users calender here, tried repair of outlook (no good) did reinstall of outlook, which did the trick
