Hello,
I've recently done a clean reinstall of Windows XP
Professional (for another reason entirely). I backed up
my data to several DVD-RWs, but when I attempt to
transfer a file from a DVD onto my hard drive, and the
usual "Copying..." window appears, about half-way through
transfer this message appears:
Cannot copy anim: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
When I click OK, transfer aborts, only part of the file
having been uploaded.
Strangely, this problem occurs only with some files and,
seemingly, with larger files exclusively.
I appreciate your help.
