I used to be able bring in data from Excel to Access
without using Access' "Import" function. I simply
highlighted the records in Excel and "Copy and Paste"
into Access. This was very useful for me for 'quckie'
queries. I have a new laptop (Windows XP)and now my Copy
and Paste shortcut no longer works. I get the
message "The Microsoft Jet Database engine could not find
the object....". I should mention that I am still able
to perform this shortcut if I am copying the records from
Access into Excel. I just can't get it to work the other
way.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
