Cannot convert from Word to WP.x after installation of SP3

I used to have no problem using 'save as' and saving a document as a WordPerfect document. I installed Office Service Pack 3 yesterday, and when I try to 'save as' a WP doc, it now states that "the converter for this format can only open files." This is true when I try to save in each type of WP document. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance.
 
Word 2000? Have you tried reinstalling the converters?

I guess that there have been security issues that Microsoft has used a blunt
instrument to kill here. You can download the old converters *at your own
risk* from
http://www.gmayor.com/Zips/WPCONV.zip
Unzip the two files into the folder
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\TextConv
(assuming C drive for the Programs Files folder)
I would suggest that you backup the originals first - the easiest plan is to
create a sub folder called - say - 'Unused' and put the two new converters
in that.
I have tested and they appear to work OK following the update, though I
don't normally work in Word Perfect.
Note that these files are only linked from here - there is no link to them
from my web site.
