I have a client on a Windows Small Business Server 2003 domain. The laptop
has full coonectivity to the domain and can ping the server and any
connected workstations. There is a Network Attached Storage device on the
network (192.168.16.3) that he cannot ping or connect to. I have verified
the permissions on the device but I keep getting System Error 53, network
resource is unavailable.
Any ideas out there?

As an update;
I ended up uninstalling all network hardware and letting the system auto
install after a rebot. This resolved the problem. Unfortunately, there is no
way of telling why it suddenly failed.
