Cannot close windows

Hi

I sure hope someone can help me out. I just recently encountered this problem. Open windows will not close. It doesn't happen consistently but when it does I have to shut down the computer. Then when I shut down the error run32dll message comes up and I have to click on end now to shut the whole computer down. Sometimes the message server busy comes up. Any ideas?

Perform a scan looking for viruses using updated antivirus, and one
looking for spyware using ad-aware and spybot:
