Hi all,

I have a question I hope someone can answer. I have created a slipstreamed
XP CD and for some reason I cannot boot from it. The CD will autorun in
Windows when I insert it but I cannot boot from it. The main directory is
the same for both the original and the copied CD.
I can't quite figure out why it won't boot. I also copied the master CD
(non-slipstreamed) and cannot boot from it....strange. I've never had this
happen before and wondering what I could be missing or doing wrong.

The only thing that is different AFAIK is the volume label. The burned
version has the date: 040810_0901 as the volume label. I wouldn't think that
this has any effect on whether the CD boots or not. Can anynone offer some
advice? Thank you!

I think I 'may' have found out what my problem is. I inserted the burned
CD's and check their properties under EZ CD creator. They both show as
Multimode 2 or some such while the original is mode 1. I will try to reburn
as mode 1 but I wonder do I need to burn in Joliet or ISO9660? Thanks.
