Hi all,

Hope you can give me a hand.

I just install the PDC running with Windows 2003 server
and I have 25 users. I have a group which call RECEPTION

I want this group RECEPTION does not have the Network Icon.
so i created a new policy it name is POL-RECP.
And this policy is does not work for users who are belong
to this group.

Do you have a idea ?

Well, although the thing you created is called a "Group Policy Object", it
has no affect on groups. The computer-part only applies to computer objects,
the user-part only applies to user objects.
You must place the user accounts under the OU that you linked the GPO with.
Then the users should log off and on again.
Where are the users and with what did you link the GPO? Do the users use
Windows 2000/XP?

Hi Wolfgang,

Thanks lot to reply me.
Yes the users have WIN XP.
You must place the user accounts under the OU that you linked the GPO with.
Where are the users and with what did you link the GPO?
I'm sorry , I Don't understand the explanation.
Could you show me more.
Thanks a lot.
