Cannot add Outlook Address Book Service to my profile

When I go through the steps in Article ID : 287563 to add my Outlook Address
Book to Outlook 2003, I receive the error message "The account you have
added is not fully configured. It might not work properly until
re-configured correctly." It won't allow me to go any further. I've
uninstalled Office and done a complete re-install a couple of times and keep
getting the same error message. What am I doing wrong?
 
Create a new profile. Yours is either corrupt or has no valid data file or
mail transport.

Deleted and recreated the profile and everything now works! Thank you for
your help.
