CANNOT ADD DEFAULT SIGNATURE

Dear Users,
I've tried but I cannot add a default signature to appear on my outgoing and
reply messages.
I've followed the online instructions but nothing appears on the message.
Please help
 
What version of Outlook?
Usually it's Tools > Options > Mail Format > Signature Picker. Create a new
signature and click OK.
If this is not a straight, simple signature and you're trying to include
graphics or anything more complicated than text, please advise.
 
I'm using outlook 2007.
I configured my signature as instructed on help files.
Still outlook does not add the signature ( simple text signature) to my
messages and I can't even add them manually using the drop down box.
Please advice.
