Cannot add a domain account to the local admin group

Hi,
I have a Win2K server set as a PDC. I created a domain
account which I then tried to add to the local
Administrator group of a separate machine which is part of
the same domain. Although I see a list with all of the
domain accounts on the remote machine when I select the
account in question I get a message that "The specified
domain either does not exist or could not be contacted".
The machine that I want to add this account to is added to
the domain and on the PDC it is listed in the Computers
section.

Make sure that the PDC emulator has the time service started and that it is
authoritative. Make sure the 'separate machine' is synched.
