I tried a new mail profile tonight, and it worked, but only under that
profile, i.e. all my other info is stored under the original (default)
profile, and I would rather not transfer it unless absolutely necessary (it
would confuse Palm sync etc.). If this helps in explaining the problem: the
Journal issue only occurs on my home PC, and it's only the Journal--Calendar,
Contacts, Notes, Tasks all work perfectly. I'm not using it for mail at
home. I would like Journal to work for entering uses of Word, Excel, etc.,
and entries I create (i.e. phone calls, manually entered tasks [as opposed to
task responses or meeting requests used with mail]). Journal appears to work
to a degree, because when I use Advanced Find to search for Journal entries,
it finds them. But the Journal folder always says Unable to display the
folder, Out of memory or system resources, Close some windows, etc. I'm
running OL2002, SP3--an upgrade from OL97. Thanks for any help.

Have either of you tried creating a new mail profile?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
After furious head scratching, Progress asked:
| You're not alone. The same exact thing happens to my Journal folder.
| Have you found anything that works since your posting? If I find
| something, I'll re-post or try to email you.
