J Jezebel Dec 24, 2004 #2 Never never never work directly with a floppy from Word. As you note, it corrupts your document. You'll often lose the entire floppy as well. ALWAYS work with a document on your hard disk. Use Windows Explorer to copy the file to/from floppy.
