Cannont access geocities websites

I havent been able to access geocities websites for a
long time now and Im not sure why. Its ONLY geocities
websites that I can't get to. Lets say its
www.geocities.com/userspage/main.html-it will
say "Internet explorer cannont download main.html from
www.geocities.com

Internet explorer was not able to open this internet
site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannont
be found. Please try again later."

I have no idea what to do. Is it IE? Id appreciate
someones help.

You are accessing it correctly: You need something like this:

http://www.geocities.com/UserName

Where UserName should be YAHOO username of the person whose page you
want.
