Pete

I've been trying for the past 3 days to install software
such as games, such as Mohaa, Jedi Outcast, and others.
It goes into the install-shield set-up, but hangs at 0%.
My CD-RW is working great and I still have over 13 GBs of
free space on my hard drive. I am using Windows XP Pro
with SP1 and I have a cable modem. Pleas let me know if
anyone has a possible solution on this issue before I have
to reformat....thanks

Whats your processor speed, and how much RAM do u have?
Also what kind of graphics card do u have?

You probably just have a damaged microsoft installer -
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;315346 -

or for an overview of the MSI -
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;310598

Even if you are not up for this , do a repair on the
installation before you "nuke and pave" :)
Ck out this article for assist on repair:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;315341

I know there is a better article - where you boot off of
the cd and repair from in here - NOT the recovery
console - press enter for new install - agree to the EULA
and HERE - press R for repair
Cheers
