Hi,
I use Outlook 2000 SP3 (Workgroup version).
While a mail is being sent, I am unable to cancel it. How do I do this?

Thanks.

if it's actually being sent, you can't cancel it. You can try crashing
outlook and depending on where it is in the sending process, you might be
able to stop it from being sent.

if you really mean to ask "I have a message that can't be sent, how do I
delete it?" See http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/stuck_message.htm

Thanks. I guess this probolem is only on the Workgroup version. When I
was using the Personal version, I was able to cancel the sending
process while it was underway.

Another problem is, when I click "Send" after typing out the email,
Outlook immediately contacts the mail-server and starts sending the
message. I want Outlook to contact the mail-server only when I click
the "Send/Receive" button. How do I do this in the Workgroup version of
Outlook?

Thanks.

When Outlook 2000 is set to use the LAN as the connection, it always sends
immediately.
