I use outlook express and I have a database that has e-mail addresses in
excel XP. Is there anyway I can use outlook or outlook express and point to
my excel file for the e-mail addresses rather than importing them all into
the e-mail program???

Not directly unless, possibly, you are only doing a Mail Merge.
Importing into an Outlook Contacts folder for Outlook is preferred.
