Can you protect just certain sections of a Word document where you do not
want the narrative changed, and leave other sections open for entering text?
Also, this word document will have a table. Can I protect the column
headings in the table, but allow users to fill in the columns?
Background: I developed SOX Testing Templates in Word that other auditors
are using. The problem I am having is that these auditors are making changes
to the SOX Testing Templates that are unauthorized. We decided to use Word
for these testing templates because there is a lot of narratives that the
auditors have to enter on the Testing Templates based on information at the
audit locations.
