Can you import Microsoft Works files to Office 2003?

I used to run MS Works on my computer for word processing. I have recently
installed Office 2003. Is there any way to import all the MS Works documents
into Office 2003?
If not, what if I change the file extention on the works files? Will that
work?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

What has importing Works documents got to do with *OUTLOOK*?
