I have four Windows XP machines networked together. I went through and
created several My Network Places on one of the machines. Is there a way to
copy what I've done to the other 3 machines? Using the wizard is too slow.
Can I create a .bat file to create the My Network Places on the other 3
machines? Or can I dump out a portion of the registry to import into the
other machines? Thanks...

Easiest way I know of to do it is copy them from one machine to
another. I imagine they could be scripted but you'd need someone with
a bit more skill than I have to help do it ;-)

You'll find that "My Network Places" is an alias for the folder
\Documents and Settings\~userprofile\Nethood, where ~userprofile is the
name of the local profile on the machine. You can copy and paste
without any problem :-)

Hope this helps -
