Not AFAIK.

Checkbox from the Control Toolbox has much more flexibility in this.

as i speak, i have a form up with check box and the property sheet. under
font i chick the small square and i have on my screen (as i type) the font

font, made it bold and change the size to 12. that is what the OP asked.

Your advice is not valid when adding a checkbox from the Forms Toolbar to a
worksheet.

It is valid when adding a checkbox to a Userform in VBE

I guess now it is up to OP to tell us which.
