Can you allow spell check inside form fields with protection on?

I am creating a memo & fax template for my company. We want to protect the
forms from being edited. So I created form fields for the areas where each
person would put in information. The problem is that once I protect the
fields, the user cannnot check spelling on their type copy inside the fields
Does someone have a solution?
