Can we embed graphics into O2K messages?

I do have a smiley program that "injects" animated gifs wherever I
want into a message but that means "installing" each graphic then
taking out. Apparently it's easy enough in Outlook Express but I
don't use OE and need to do this with O2K.

Thanks.

Not unless you use HTML or Rich Text as your message format and embed the
images. Not sure how one can "need" to use animated smileys <g>

Who said anything about smileys? This is one of those cases where one
shouldn't assume. <g>

I belong to several graphics yahoo egroups known as lists. When we
send tubes (graphics in PSP format), it is requested that we send a
preview file of the tube so that, at a glance, the tube's contents can
be seen without the yahoo list member having to open each attachment.
This is necessary when some days, numbers of messages with tubes can
be tremendous.

I used the smiley program analogy for what I was trying to do.

Turns out the problem lay with a glitch in O2K and MSIE5.5. I
upgraded to MSIE6 and now I have no troubles embedding images.
