Can Wasup!ME.bat be used on Windows 2000, anyone know?

I'm not sure what the differences are, if any, between Windows ME and
Windows 2000 but hoping that the Wasup!ME file I have will work on my
new Windows 2000. Does anyone know if this is the case? I have all
sorts of cleaner apps (like CCleaner) but still trust the batch files
more.)

Since NT windows store user files differently from ME, it probably won't,
and I wouldn't even try if I were you. But I have used CCleaner for over a
year now and I can only recommend it.

Despite CCleaner and other apps, would still like a batch file to
actually delete certain folders but that will also exit windows and
reboot as the regular Wasup! for Win98SE used to.

Does anyone know of any batch file for Windows 2000 that will do this?
I can figure out how to edit it, it's creating from scratch that's the
problem.

Yes, I have that one, too. But it doesn't exit Windows and delete the
files like Wasup! did in Win98SE. It doesn't seem to do as good a job
in Windows 2000. So I'm looking to create my own somehow but despite
being quite good in AutoIt and scripting in software, have never
seemed to do well with batch files. Nothing seems to work as well as
the bats did in Win98SE!

Is it giving you error messages when you run it in W2k? Or are you
just unsure whether it will run?

No, no error message. But it doesn't seem to be doing the same type
of job. I'd prefer that it reboot because that way, Windows is
disengaged and the files can be deleted, just like in Win98SE.

Other than a manual reboot, run it from a batch file, then run a
reboot program on the next line.
