Can Vlookup retrieve a range of cells from source to target sheet or any other fx

Hi!

I am attaching a sample list of what I have to perform on the exce
sheet. The File No. is the common element for the Years 2002 and 2003
in the consolidate Sheet(2002+2003), I need all the transactions wit
respect to the file no.s in sequence of the Years, so that I can arriv
at the Balance of each Debtor in the consolidated sheet.

If any further calrification required do let me know.

I was wondering if the vlookup function can be further expanded t
return a range of data with respect to the File no. Or if ther is an
other way to get the desired result.

look at Alan Bebans functions. You'll need VBA to do this
