Hi =?Utf-8?B?UGVubnkgSA==?=,
I have two Word documents - they are in descriptive paragraph form - but the
paragraphs are in alpha order on one document, and in CD order on the other
document. Can these paragraphs be linked somehow in each document so that
changes or corrections only be made one time?
In one of the documents. select all these paragraphs. Now apply a bookmark to
the selection (Insert/Bookmark) and note the name you used. Save the file.
In the other document, delete the paragraphs. Go to Insert/File and select the
first file. Click the Range button and type in the bookmark name. Choose to
Insert with Link. Now, when the first document is changed the second should
reflect the changes. (with the reservation that, where security service packs
have been installed, this update may not be automatic).
In order to send the changes from the second document back to the first,
through the link: click on the linked text and press Ctrl+Shift+F7
