Is it posible to have the path of a file displayed in the tool bar, if so how can this be done?

I remember running across a macro that you can run at startup of Word that
put the filename and path in the Title bar instead of just the filename.
I'll look around for it this evening unless someone else pops in with the
code.

All you need to do is click on "View" then click on"Toolbars". Select the "Web" toolbar. This toolbar will display the path of the file

Hope this is was what you wanted. If not..... give me a shout

Take a look at the Web Bar; I copied a display from there into one of my
custom toolbars for that purpose. Tools => Customize...
