I'm programming VB macros to send delivery and quality performance metrics to
our suppliers. The 'sendmail' method provides the means to do this inside to
the macros but after working hard to fully automate the process without
requiring user intervention it seems inappropriate to need to watch the 5
second delay fire off and the click yes through 50 or so emails. It's still
faster than manually sending the files one at a time but it is most
unpleasant in this day of automation.
I can understand why the delay exists with all of the spammers and virus
developers out there but this sure seems like another area where legitimate
business needs suffer because of the lunacy of a the few.
