Gary

I have posted three messages about being unable to read
replies to posts.I can read the post, but none of the
replies.
I would like to know how to change my computer so it shuts
down when I click Start/turn off computer.
right now, when I do that, I get a message that says "it
is now safe to turn of your computer."
PLEASE do not reply to this post, because I won`t be able
to read it. Please post a NEW post, with it is now safe to
turn off your computer " in the subject line, or e-mail me
a response.
PLEASE do not reply to this post the normal way. I can`t
read it!!!!
All I get is "message not available"

Hi

Replying to this posting via Outlook Express will show up in Outlook Express, not in the CDO ATM as there is a problem with that interface.

For your problem please have a look at MVP Jim Eshelman's web site:

Either click on the "+" sign or use OE but you won't see this, will you?

PLONKER!

Hi, Rifleman.

Gary probably has a legitimate complaint. I've seen mentions here and
elsewhere that the Web-based interface (CDO), which Gary is using, is
behaving this way today. CDO posters can't see OE replies to their posts.
Maybe MSFT will get it fixed soon.

It seems that most folks who ask the questions use the Web-based interface,
but those who know the answers don't. :>(

There is a problem. The MSoft people are working flat out on it - but
part of the trouble is making sure the fixed version gets referred to
everywhere in the site
