Hi!

I want to give printing permission to a domain local
group on our networkprinter (printserver w2k member sp3).
If I try to add the group to the secutity tab of the
printer properties, I can`t find the group in AD.
The same problem appears, if I want to give NTFS
permissions to a file. I can`t select the domain local
group. Via command line I can set the permission with
cacls. The group is shown in "Users and computers" (W2k3
DC). Is there any thing I can do to give this group
printing permission? Why can`t I select the domain local
group when I want to add the group via GUI?

Thanks for answer!

Regards

Frank
