Hello to All -

I'm working on a PowerPoint slide show and am trying to play music from mp3
and wmv files in the background. I can insert and play the file on a slide,
but as soon as I move to the next slide, the music stops. Is there a way to
make this continue in the background? I know I can use AVI files, but that
is not an option for this project.

All help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi John,

I had the same question about 10 days ago. Fortunately, Sonia from the
PowerPoint MVP group - my new hero - gave me this reply which i'm duplicating
for you:
"Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)

There's an add-in at the rpslides.com site. The add-in worked great! The
only thing that I'd be sure to add to the suggestion is that the add-in needs
to be on each computer the PP is being run on unless you create a PowerPoint
Show (.pps). If you run it as a ".ppt" file on a different computer after
installing the add-in, you'll need to click set the "default" function on the
first and last slides in
order to get the music to run on all slides.

Excellent add-in that is MUCH appreciated.

Hope this helps!
