Can someone please help????????

i have a moitor and have hooked it up to to modems and it still will not stay
on but if i unhook it ,it does the signal lost flash on the screen. does that
mean both of my modems video cards are gone?
 
Modems don't have video cards, they transfer data from the internet to your
computer, so I don't know what you are talking about.

Modems don't usually have video cards.
Modems are devices used to connect to other computers/internet via the
telephone line and are inside a computer (or connected externally.) You do
not connect monitors to a modem.
 
From what I can decipher from the message, I think that the user is saying
that she connected a monitor(is it a second monitor, please be specific next
time) and the monitor will not go on(did you plug the power in?). It means
that maybe you only connected the power. Did you connect the VGA port?

Can you try that again?

Do you mean "computer" instead of "modem"? The message would make ever
so much more sense that way.

If i get this straight. Your monitor will not stay on, it DOES display
an actual image for some length of time, correct? At some point, the
image dissappears, and the power light on the monitor changes from
GREEN, to AMBER, is that also correct? If, so, tap the keyboard a few
times, it should wake up in a few seconds. This is not a bug, it is a
power saving feature triggered by inactivity (no typing, for instance).
