Hi all, I'm having problems with Windows Messenger as it is interfering with
Media Center Extender (MCX). In short, when I try to use Media Center
Messenger (which opens Windows Messenger in a remote desktop session on my
Media Center PC), it crashes the MCX device because it is an 'unauthorised
window'.
The people on the MCX newsgroup tell me this should not be so, and I must
have a corrupt file or signature somewhere so MCX is not correctly
recognising Messenger.
I have tried reinstalling Windows (repair), completely removing Windows
Messenger, reinstalling 4.7, 5.1, you name it but the same issue.
Can someone list ALL the files and reg entries Messenger uses so I can
remove every trace of it, then start with a new install?
