Can Solver work on different sheets!?!?!

Dear All

I really need some help... Is there a possibility of applying the solver to different sheets linked together : I am looking to find a solution to a problem with a target cell, a changing cell and constraints on different sheets but that are all indirectly linked. I can't seem to get the solver to run accross all the sheets and therefore calculate a solution..

AFAIK that is not possible (even with defined names this does not
work). I would try the following:
- create a sheet with all your constraint cells on it and link the
other sheets to this constraint cells
- use Solver on this master sheet
