Can shrink in forms

Can anyone let me know if it's possible to use the 'can shrink' option in
forms?

It's handy in reports - eg addresses with blank lines. But doesn't seem to
work in forms. Is this a limitation of Access, or am I missing something?

The can shrink setting on a form is only for printing, and since we
generally use a report to print things, it not any use on the form side.

For the most part, having a form re-size...or expand is not much workable
anyway as then you can't fix the layout, and things would have to be able to
move around in a form...
