Can send be disabled if a subject line is blank

Is there an option in Outlook (specifically Outlook 2002)
where the sending of an e-mail can be stopped if the
subject line has been accidentally omitted?

I can find no such option...

You can use Outlook VBA code for this:

Private Sub Application_ItemSend(ByVal Item as Object, Cancel as Boolean)
If Item.Subject = "" Then
MsgBox "You forgot the subject."
Cancel = True
End If
End Sub

I am also looking for this function. I can't believe
Outlook doesn't do it automatically for you like Yahoo
Mail does.
